Can anyone help with period images?

My name is Freddie Baker, and I am a Liverpool singer/songwriter. The BBC plays many of my songs on a daily basis, and although I do sell some of my songs, most of my work is used to raise money for various charities around the country. I am writing in the hope that you and your readers may be able to help me with a current project.
I currently have a song I wrote for Remembrance Day entitled "Closing of the Day" (available on my website free of charge at the link below. A TV company recently asked me if I had a video to accompany the song, as they are willing to play it everyday during the week running up to Remembrance Day on 11th November this year. I am therefore attempting to compile a collection of WW2 images that I can use to on a DVD to run the length of the song,
I am also working on another song of mine entitled "Billy the Kid" , which is all about growing up in the 50s and 60s. For this DVD I'm looking for images of kids building or riding on homemade Go Karts, attending the Saturday picture shows etc.
