"Disabled" description meaningless

I would like to make your readers aware that when hotels offer “fully disabled rooms” it is meaningless.

I recently booked such a room for a holiday only to find the only facility was a walk in shower which had no grab rails and the chair was a light plastic garden chair which offered no support. There was no alarm system or telephone and the light switch was near the door.

There was no power point adjacent to the hospitality tray. The bedside lamp could only be used by the person in the bed furthest from the bathroom. When I complained to the manager he said if I wasn't satisfied I was free to go elsewhere!
