Brush up your Shakespeare in Roseland
09/07/2007
If you'd like a better understanding of the Bard, the University of the Third Age, Roseland and District, Cornwall, is holding an "Introduction to Shakespeare", and open day on Monday 23rd July at Veryan Parish Hall between 10.00 am – 12.30 pm.
The day's programme will include a series of tasters, with extracts on video on Shakespeare’s Life and DVDs (with subtitles) of The Merchant of Venice, Macbeth and Hamlet.
If you like what you see, why not join their proposed study group which starts on Monday 24th September and will then be held on the second and fourth Mondays in each month.
Each ‘course’ will cost £5.00, which includes all the handouts you will need.
