Is your pet photogenic?
04/06/2007
Some animals love being in front of a camera, knowing just how to pose at the right moment. Whether its squiggling around on their backs, looking suitably aristocratic or utterly daft - this is your chance to enter them into a competition to discover the UK’s most photogenic pet.
The PDSA have launched "pets’ gallery competition" a free competition - but with the invitation to make a £1 donation to help other furry friends in need of the PDSA’s help. Handsome hounds, magnificent moggies, gorgeous guinea pigs, charming chinchillas, to name but a few, are all in with a chance of being crowned the PDSA pets’ gallery winner and winning their owner a superb Canon digital camera.
Entries can be accepted at any of the PDSA’s 182 charity shops throughout June and July, and photographs submitted will be displayed in your local PDSA shop for the duration of the competition. The selected winning photographs will then be put on posters UK-wide at PDSA shops in September and on the PDSA website.
PDSA spokesperson, Lisa Nickless, said: “This is the perfect opportunity to show how special your pet is to you. And by entering the competition and making a donation you will also be helping PDSA to carry out its vital work of providing free veterinary treatment to pets in need of vets across the UK. So if you think your pet has the ‘ah’ factor to be crowned champ, then make sure you enter a photo showing off their best side.”
Pick up an entry form inside your local PDSA shop during June and July, or alternatively, enter online at the link below. The more pets you have, the more times you can enter!
PDSA regrets that it cannot return photographs. By submitting photographs entrants are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the competition. The closing date for entries is 28th July 2007.
