"I'm a Council Tax loser"

Your article "Pensioners biggest winners in Council Tax Proposal", is totally misleading. What about those pensioners who have over £50,000 - they get nothing.

 

I am widowed and pay just over 12% of my net income in Council Tax but my savings for care in years to come is just over £50,000. You should promote a simple system whereby no one pays over 10% of net income in Council Tax. Prove of income could come from the Tax Return. So simple!
