Photographing life & wildlife at Glastonbury

Glastonbury Abbey will be running a new photographic exhibition competition this year, with the theme " Life and Wildlife at Glastonbury Abbey". Open to both amateurs and professionals it runs from 1st January until 12th September, with three cash prizes of £100, £50 and £25.

 

Entrants are free to choose any subject that they feel reflects the life and wildlife of Glastonbury Abbey", whether it be ponds, orchards, the wildlife garden, tree lined walks, spring flowers or even the Living History characters in the Abbots Kitchen.

 

Whatever your choice, you have to enter the Abbey to take your picture, but can submit three photos. An exhibition of the winning photos and other noted entries will then be held in the Abbey Museum from 5th - 19th October 2007.
