How many Olympic cyclists does it take to power your home?

You might be able to work out how much energy your home uses on an average day just by looking at your power bill, but if watts and kilowatts mean nothing to you then it's hard to really put your energy usage into perspective.
In an effort to show people which appliances use the most energy, Baxi Ecogen have teamed up with Olympic and World Champion Cyclist Nicole Cooke to show how much pedal power it takes to fire up a lightbulb, a kettle, a microwave and lots of other everyday household items.
